Park Usage & Safety
STOP. PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU RIDE AND SIGN THE WAIVER
Crashes happen - even to experienced riders. Ride in control, and stay within your limits. Features are rated for skill level - respect them. Jumping requires specic skills; advanced trails are not for learning the basics.
The Volkswagen | Audi St. John’s Mountain Bike Skills Park is built for progression, fun, and most importantly, safety.
Please take a moment to review our Code of Conduct and Rider Safety Guidelines before using the park.
All riders must complete a one-time waiver before using the Volkswagen | Audi St. John’s Mountain Bike Skills Park.
This helps ensure everyone understands the inherent risks of mountain biking and agrees to ride responsibly.

Riders under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign on their behalf.
Skills Park Code of Conduct
-
No walking, running, or sliding on features. This is a ride-only area.
-
Ride dirt, not mud. If your tires or shoes are leaving ruts or prints,
conditions are too wet. Riding during these conditions damages the park. -
Progress at your own pace. Start with small features and work your way up.
-
Look before you leap. Terrain changes due to weather, maintenance, and
use. Always inspect features first. -
Follow the park motto: PRE-RIDE, RE-RIDE, FREE-RIDE.
-
Be aware of others. Yield when appropriate and avoid stopping on features
or landings. -
Helmets required. Full-face helmets are strongly recommended, especially
for jumping. -
Respect the park. No littering. No altering or building features.
-
No RC cars, motorized vehicles, high-performance electric off-road motorcycle or dirt bikes
Riding Progression
PRE-RIDE
Warm up the brain and body by inspecting the trail at a low speed.
Take the time to check your equipment.
RE-RIDE
Ride the trail multiple times and get to know the flow or the features.
FREE-RIDE
Work your way up to faster speeds
and larger features.
