What is a poker run?
There will be five (5) stops necessary to complete this Poker Run. At each designated stop, the participants draw an envelope with a card in it at random. Cards will be placed in non-transparent envelopes and must be presented still in their envelopes at the card drop at McNiven’s Pub. Failure to maintain cards sealed in their envelopes will result in disqualification
This is a "run", there are no prizes for speed - it does not matter who is first to complete the course. It is not a race. There will be a course time limit to ensure an organized conclusion to the event: cards must be turned in at McNiven’s Pub no later than 2pm.
The winning hand is determined by standard poker hand rankings. There are no "wild cards" allowed.
Players will re-draw any cards that are duplicates. For example, if you draw the seven of clubs and you already have the seven of clubs, then you must put the card back and re-draw another card. This will happen at McNiven’s Pub
A poker run should be a fun and enjoyable event for all concerned.
